In the film, Satyaprem ki Katha director Sammer portrays a feminist husband supporting his wife’s fight for justice against date rape and trauma. The director said that the film aims to sensitize men to ally with women in challenging the patriarchal mindset and society. He clarified that the husband is a supportive character, not a man’s savior. Despite criticism, the movie did amazing business and gained good reviews and ratings from film critics. Both leads, Karthik Aryan and Kiara Advani, received praise for their chemistry and stellar performances from the audiences.

His script writing and direction are commendable. He is undoubtedly the best director Bollywood has had. India desperately needs bold and brave directors like him.
