One person has been arrested in connection with the case of a threatening letter to Sandalwood actor Sudeep. Director Ramesh Kitti was arrested by CCB Police and it is known that he was a trustee of Sudeep Charitable Trust. Sudeep’s close friend Ramesh had directed many films in the past. Sudeep and Ramesh were at loggerheads over charity money. I trusted Sudeep in the charity and invested two crores. But Sudeep cheated without paying. It seems that Ramesh blurted out in the CCB inquiry that he had written such a threatening letter out of anger. It is suspected that some people are behind this case. Thus, the CCB police have continued the investigation.
Sudeep’s house in J.P. Nagar received these threatening letters by post on March 29 from an anonymous person, and the FIR was registered on the complaint of Sudeep’s manager and producer Manjunath alias Jack Manju. City Police Commissioner CH Pratap Reddy, who took this case seriously, ordered a CCB investigation in this regard.
J.P. Nagar 6th Stage K.R. Sudeep lives with his parents at Layout 17th Cross. On March 29, two letters were sent to Sudeep’s address by post. Sudeep’s family received these and when they opened and read them, they were dismayed to see unspoken abuse and threats. On Sudeep’s instructions, his manager lodged a complaint with the Puttenahalli police station.
Actor Sudeep who replied to the media about this, it is true that I have received a threatening letter. It is also known that no one wrote this letter. The person who wrote the letter knows my home address very well. I don’t know why they posted it. Someone in the film industry sent it. I will give him a suitable answer.’ At present, one person has been arrested for threatening Sudeep, and the police are continuing to investigate who is behind this.
