Currently, Vijay Devarakonda needs a solid hit to continue his europhia in Tollywood. The Rowdy hero who tasted hits like Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy and Getha Govindam, bagged back to back flops recently. Mainly his last film Liger left him in the worst situation and hence he pinned all his hopes on his next outing Kushi.
Kushi film starring Smanatha and Vijay Devarkonda started its shooting long back, but went on hold for a few days. Speculations are rife that though Vijay wants to start the fresh schedule of this film immediately, unavailability of Samantha has pushed the team into hold.
As per the Samantha’s team statements, Samantha left for the U.S and will retire back by this month. Her films Yashoda and Shakuntalam teams are waiting for Smanatha’s arrival as few works are pending for them as well. But the latest buzz is that after returning back to Hyderabad, Samantha allotted bulk dates to Vijay Devarakonda’s Kushi from November. Reportedly in November, the majority of the Vijay movie will be completed in Hyderabad.
However, Samantha allotting bulk dates for Vijay would be a big relief for Kushi team, it’s the turn of Yashoda makers to check Samantha dates for film promotion and Shakuntalam makers for film’s schedule.
Coming to Khusi, the film is directed by Siva Nirvana who has earlier directed Smanatha’s film “Majili ” starring Naga Chaitanya.
