RRR sets new record in Japan.

Tollywood Ace film-maker Rajamouli’s blockbuster “RRR,” starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, is continuing to rack up numbers at the Japanese box office.

This periodical action drama is well on track to become the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan after it crossed 280 million Yen (16.10 crores) in 31 days and became the fastest Indian film ever to reach the mark. There are no signs of stopping down for this Magnum opus.

As the reports of trade analysts, the film surpassed Rajamouli’s Bahubali 2, starring Prabhas in the lead role. In Japan, Bahubali collected 300 million Yen in its theatrical run.

But for RRR, the numbers are racking up daily, and the film is still running in Japan successfully. According to the reports, RRR surpassed Bahubali 2 in just 34 days by collecting 305 million Yen.

The action drama has also registered a huge number of footfalls in 2,03,867. RRR long back surpassed Amir Khan’s 3 idiots on its 16th-day run.

Before RRR, Rajinikanth’s Muthu is still alone on top after so many years of its release. The Rajini starrer was released in the year 1995. Till then, no Indian film crosses the Muthu. Let us see if RRR can make it happen soon…

According to the latest trade reports, the movie collected more than 650+ million Yen in 94 days with an exceptional number of 417 k footfalls. Recently, the movie got a Golden Globes award.
