SS Rajamouli is growing in stature film after film. As his craze spread with the Baahubali series, that craze is getting cemented now with RRR. Even after many months of release, the film is still making noise in the international arena. West’s audience received it so well that they themselves took it on their shoulders to send the film to Oscar awards. Many had and have been campaigning through social media for the same. On the other hand, the Indian film jury sent a Gujarati film to the Oscars instead of RRR. Now, Variance Films, the distributor of RRR overseas, is sending the film for Oscars in For Your Consideration(FYC) in all the categories. Film reporter Jen Yemato revealed the news on Twitter.
It is a direct application to the Academy, one can assume that the Oscar campaign is officially underway. SS Rajamouli, who already is in America right now, is said to be staying there for the next couple of months of the Oscars campaign. The film is sent in the following categories.

Best Original Score ( MM Keeravani) 7. Best Film Editing (A. Sreekar Prasad) 8. Best Sound (Raghunath Kemisetty, Boloy Kumar Doloi, Rahul Karpe) 9. Best Supporting Actress (Alia Bhatt) 10. Best Supporting Actor (Ajay Devgn) 11. Best Cinematography (K. K. Senthil Kumar) 12. Best Production Design (Sabu Cyril) 13. Best costume Design (Rama Rajamouli) 14. Best Makeup & Hair Styling (Nalla Srinu, Senapathi Naidu) 15. Best Visual Effects (V. Srinivas Mohan)
The movie team is expecting to be surely nominated at least in one of the categories and even might win too.
