The international award season kicked off with the 80th Golden Globe Awards, where SS Rajamouli’s RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR has bagged the Best Song (Motion Picture) for Naatu Naatu.
The Ace director Rajamouli‘s mammoth film RRR came, saw and conquered at the Golden Globes. SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster has won Best Original Song for the globally viral Naatu Naatu song, among Hollywood’s biggest awards.
The other nominees in the category were Taylor Swift’s Carolina from Where The Crawdads Sing, Ciao Papa from Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, Lady Gaga’s Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick and Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The Golden Globes are being held in Los Angeles with comedian Jerrod Carmichael as host.
This Rajamouli’s directorial is also competing in a second category at the Golden Globes – Best Non-English Language Film. MM Keeravani received this prestigious award on behalf of whole RRR team and he thanked everyone name by name who worked for the song.
