Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has positive talk!

Actor Madhavan has debuted as a director with Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The film is based on the life of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. Madhavan himself played the protagonist role along with the direction. For this, he completely transformed himself into the scientist’s role. So much that the make-over has shocked the versatile actor Suriya himself. As the movie has been released today worldwide, the talk is unanimously positive for the film. It seems like Madhavan has hit the right spot on his first attempt.

The plot of the film revolves around the role of Nambi Narayanan. The way he served his country, how he rejected the huge offer from NASA to join them and finally, the way he was framed with charges of treason. Nambi was charged with the allegations that he secretly sent the information regarding the cryogenic engines to Pakistan. He was arrested and labelled as a man who cheated his nation.

But, Nambi fought the battle legally and finally came out clean. Kerala government has even paid him Rs 1.3 Crores as compensation. Madhavan successfully captured all these critical moments of Nambi’s life in rather an emotional way.

The main highlight of the film is Madhavan himself. From direction to acting, he was spot on. Even though there are many technical things in the film’s first half regarding rocket science and engines, Maddy brought them onto the screen in a way everyone can easily understand. The film was already premiered at the Cannes film festival and was applauded. Actress Simran did an excellent job in the role of Nambi’s wife. While Gulshan Grover would be seen as Abdul Kalam, Suriya shines in a special role, and Shah Rukh Khan portrayed the same position in the Hindi version.
