Looks like 2023 is scheduled with considerable re-releases, while famous faces of Tollywood have already marked their shares of re-releases. Now it is another star hero’s chance to revisit the big screen with one of his blockbusters.
Srinu Vaitla’s directorial, Ready hit the big screen back in 2008, the film was made with a budget of 80 crores. It was bankrolled by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and was a massive blockbuster which made a whooping 170 crores at the box office. The film stars Ram and Genelia, while Ram is popularly known for one of his characters names Danayya. Genelia looks stunning in the film as usual. All the artists from the leads to mere appearances have done an impeccable job on-screen.
The film revolves around a family who considers their son a brat, who rather appears to be extremely concerned about every family member and a foreign return girl who strives to be a part of the family which in return considers her a money machine. The chaotic start of the film ends with everything and everyone falling in place due to the leading man’s tactics and strategies.
This film was later remade in Kannada, Tamil and Hindi and is now set to re-release in Telugu on May 14th 2023.
