Vijay Deverakonda faced the worst disaster of his young career with Liger. Made in the hope of cashing on the stardom he got after Arjun Reddy, the movie fell flat on its face and was easily one of the worst-performed movies of the year. Director Puri Jagannadh’s career too fell into the abyss with the movie. While many have lambasted the film, actress Rashmika Mandhanna has got the opposite opinion. She stood firmly with Rowdy in his decision to make the movie with her reaction. Her Bollywood movie Good Bye is ready for release and the actress has been busy promoting during which she spoke about VD and Liger as well.
“Vijay and I have become good friends with Geetha Govindam, Dear Comrade movies. Although we have done just two movies together, people talk about our pair a lot and in fact, we feel happy when they talk about our friendship. I’ve recently seen the Liger movie of VD and actually, I like it a lot. I like mass movies a lot. I whistled and danced throughout the film. Irrespective of the result, I liked the flick a lot. Vijay was superb. He took a lot of care regarding his fitness. His hard work can be seen on the screen. Well done Vijay” said the actress. Well, this must be some encouragement to Vijay who is not much active after the Liger result. On the other hand, Rashmika is rocketing in movies. Right now, she has Good Bye, Mission Majnu, Animal in Hindi, Varisu in Tamil/Telugu, and Pushpa 2 in Telugu.
