In a recent conversation at a promotional event, Animal actors Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna defended the film’s runtime, saying that the film absolutely justifies that long time.
When challenged about Animal’s duration during a recent press conference in Bengaluru, Ranbir Kapoor replied, “We are not releasing a film this long because we are arrogant about it.” This duration was necessary for the story to reach the audience effectively.
He continued by saying that the more extended version of the movie that he and the team had viewed was as entertaining. We’ve all seen the 3-hour, 49-minute version of this movie, and it also held. That’s entertaining. However, Sandeep has put a lot of effort into shortening the length. You are likewise unable to stretch it that far. However, I hope the viewer and audience don’t get panicked by the length. Just come and experience cinema at its best.” Animal is all set to hit the theatres on 1st December and is estimated to earn more than 100 crore on its first day.
