Ahead of Oscar, Tollywood actor Ram Charan is attending many Hollywood interviews and recently he appeared on the Entertainment Tonight show.
While Ram Charan asked which franchise – Marvel or DC – he wanted to be a part of and he said all of them. Ram Charan said, “I want to be in every franchise that people are watching and buying the tickets. I want to be in every film, in every country where people appreciate art in films and cinema basically. Cinema is becoming the global cinema. It’s no more Hollywood or Bollywood. It’s burning all the wood and becoming a global cinema. And I am so fortunate to be a part of that.”
While asked about Hollywood’s favourite director, Ram Charan said, “Quentin Tarantino is my all-time fave. I grew up watching his films and he’s a big influence. Inglorious Basterds is always on my playlist on a Sunday when I am doing nothing.” He also added that J J Abrams was another favourite and he would love to work with the Star Wars director. Speaking on the Entertainment Tonight show, he added, “All these directors challenge their actors and make it so interesting.”
