Rajamouli’s Father Gets Nominated For Rajya Sabha

KV Vijayendra Prasad, father of the ace director Rajamouli and the popular writer of Tollywood films got nominated for Rajya Sabha seat. Yes, this Bahubali writer is among the four nominees to the Rajya Sabha announced from south India.

Apart from Telugu films, Vijayendra Prasad has also been a writer to many blockbusters films of Tamil, Kannada and Hindi. He is the one behind the success of movies like Baahubali, Mersal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, RRR and much more.

Continuing his charm in Politics as well, the eighty-year-old Vijayendra Prasad got nominated to Rajya Sabha.

Prime Minister Modi took to Twitter on Wednesday, and wrote “Shri V. Vijayendra Prasad Garu has been associated with the creative world for decades. His works showcase India’s glorious culture and have made a mark globally. Congratulations to him for being nominated to the Rajya Sabha”.

Born in Andhra Pradesh’s Kovvur, Vijayendra Prasad has written stories for several hit films in the 1990s as well, including Janaki Ramudu, Gharana Bullodu and Samarasimha Reddy.
