‘PonniyinSelvin’ is a historical action-adventure film directed by Mani Ratnam. The film was shot in various locations across India, with a few sequences in Thailand. Part 2 features Vikram, Karthi, and Jayam Ravi. The Part 2 plot revolves around Arulmozhi Varman, who continues on his journey to becoming Rajaraja I, the greatest ruler of the historic Chola empire of south India. The second and final instalment of ‘Ponnyinselvin 2’ is all set for theatrical release on April 28, 2023, in India.
The makers have announced to release of ‘Ponniyivelan 2’ theatrically on 27th April in the USA. The ticket price is $33 (with tax) for adults and $21.20 for a child.
