Priyanka Chopra unveiled her new production venture, Women of My Billion, a documentary that follows on violence against women.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas unveiled “Women of My Billion” on Tuesday, a forthcoming documentary that tells the genuine narrative of a woman’s trip from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to meet women who have endured violence.

Priyanka Chopra produced the film under Purple Pebble Pictures banner, which will be available on Prime Video following its theatrical run. The documentary is directed by Ajitesh Sharma.

In the event Priyanka candidly spoke about the film; she said, “I’ve had a pretty long connection with Prime Video, almost four years now, and they’ve always supported the work that I do. And this film was one of them,” Chopra Jonas explained during the Prime Video Presents event, when she introduced the film’s director and cast.

The new documentary “Women of My Billion” or “WOMB” follows Srishti Bakshi, the UN Women Champion of Change, who embarks on a monumental journey, walking 3,800 km over 240 days from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, along the way meeting and learning first and about the experiences of women from all corners of India.
