Bollywood’s top actress Priyanka Chopra is currently busy in Hollywood. With her hi-fi English, she is recognized by Western women no less. Her idea is to find a home in Hollywood where she is married to pop singer Nick Jonas. But Priyanka has now shared the bitter incident in her past in America. She has spoken candidly about the many difficulties she faced when she went to America for her high school education.
Priyanka Chopra, who is famous for her confidence, was not like this before. She felt a lot of pain remembering those days. “When I went to America for high school studies, I struggled a lot. At first, I did not understand how to make friends with the girls there. I did not know how to go to the canteen then. There was not much awareness about food. I used to take snacks from the vending machine and go to the bathroom without anyone seeing me. Didn’t go with anyone. I was afraid to go with everyone. Because I didn’t know much about eating food. I used to cook in the bathroom too. I was so nervous. I didn’t know how to get to the cafeteria.” said Priyanka.
“It was very difficult for me to adjust to American culture. I was not in the nature of getting along with many people. Because of this, I used to find it annoying to meet anyone. So I observed everything there for about four weeks. Then I got courage. I have changed enough to make friends with other kids at school, dates, late-night parties etc. were not allowed in our family and it was a bit difficult to adjust to all of them.” Priyanka said.
