In a recent interaction with Pan India director S.S. Rajamouli, Prashanth Neel got candid about his upcoming action film Salaar and revealed exciting details.
When S.S. Rajamouli questioned the connection between KGF and SALAAR, he politely denied it. He said that both films are entirely from different worlds, and he wants the audience to own Salaar just like they did with KGF movies.
He further said it was very convenient for us to take that route, but I am responsible for coming to a big star, and firstly, I am incapable of making this franchise film with connections. I had to give respect to the star I was working with, and I was making a new world. Personally, I don’t want to connect Salaar with the KGF franchise.
when Rajamouli questioned him about creating his franchise, he said,” I like to see when it comes out right, like the Avengers series, it came out right, and somebody else is also doing right, like Lokesh Knagaraj is also doing the right thing, Vikram, Kaithi, and Leo all came out right. But I am not capable of it because of its different timelines. KGF happens in the ’80s, and Salaar occurs in the current timeline, so there is nothing to connect.
