Pan-Indian actor Prabhas declined the chance to work with his idol, Rajinikanth, in the highly anticipated Project K. Prabhas, who greatly admires Rajini sir, humbly requested the filmmakers to consider casting the legendary Kamal Hassan instead. This decision showcased Prabhas’ deep respect for Rajinikanth.
Prabhas, known for his roles in Baahubali and Saaho, considers Rajinikanth a major inspiration in his own career. Putting aside his personal desires, Prabhas acknowledged Rajinikanth’s immense popularity and charm, believing that his inclusion in the project would take it to new heights.
Kamal Hassan is playing the powerful antagonist role opposite Prabhas in this mighty action drama film. The stars included are Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Dulquer Salman and others. Director Nag Ashwin is known for conventional filmmaking practices but also offers a fresh and innovative approach to storytelling bringing the hype for this movie. On July 20, the makers will unveil the movie title and glimpse at SDCC.
