Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam is currently busy working on an interesting film Ponniyin Selvan. This is a historic film that is also dubbed as his dream project. Being made on a big budget on a grand scale at the pan-India level, the film is surely rising curiosity among the audience.
The makers launched a motion poster a while ago, with the caption that The Cholas are coming. Looks like the team has started the promotions and wanted to generate a big buzz around the film ahead of its release.
Ponniyin Selvan tracks the factional power struggles within the Chola empire. The film will have release in two parts.
The film features Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sarath Kumar, Vikram Prabhu, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Prabhu, Parthiban, and Prakash Raj.
The film’s first part is hitting the screens on 30th September 2022.
