After huge blockbuster with movie Pichaikkaran in 2016, music director turned actor ‘Vijay Antony’ of pichaikkaran is all set to hit the theatres with the sequel of the movie and also titled “Pichaikkaran2″ on May 19 world wide. This movie was also released in Telugu under title Bicchagadu and is also now releasing its sequel. Buzz is that Bicchagadu2 acquired around 700 theatres in Telugu states.
Vijay Antony who has given lot of hits with his projects has also credits for writing most of the projects he did. He usually chooses thriller plots to give his audience that exciting plot twist in the movie to not leave the seat until the end. In his recent promotions for the movie, actor talking about the movie said pichaikkaran 2 is not like its prequel, there’ll be lil complexities as he’s a difficult person in this movie. Adding lil bit of comedy and some religious values, team has retained the film but with more volume as it’ll be released worldwide.
when broached about the speculations of him working during recovering from accident, he said ‘there was no pain as he took anesthesia and was bored being alone, overthinking began creping me up so I took the laptop to keep myself busy. He also added, ” I don’t think of it as an achievement” but post surgery he became more of a positive person, started working hard and changed his working style which made him work more enthusiastically for projects quickly.
Pichakkaran2 is also actor’s debut as director. This film stars Kavya Thapar playing female lead, Radha Ravi in a prominent role, Y Gee Mahedran, Mansoor Ali Khan, Hareesh Peradi, John Vijay, Yogi Babu among with others. This movie is also produced by actor’s wife Fatima under the banner Vijay Antony Film Corporation. Script, Direction, Screenplay, and Music is done by Vijay Antony. Movie will be released world wide in theatres on May 19.
