Power star Pawan Kalyan stated that he is doing movies only for money to run his political party. Pawan also wants some blockbusters. All his recent flicks generate good buzz but are not flashing the storm after the first week. Sources close to him say that Pawan wants to make blockbusters only as they will also help his political career. Right now, his hopes are pinned on the Historical fiction Hari Hara Veeramallu. For portraying the role of Veeramallu, a warrior, Pawan was seen practicing a lot of martial arts, which he left a long ago after the movie Johnny. One must appreciate his commitment to the cinema as even while nearing his fifties, he is reluctant to use dupes and wants to do all the sequences himself. However, there are rumors in the Tollywood circles that Pawan is disappointed with a few aspects of the film.
Especially in looks, Pawan was said to have expressed his concern about the get-up of his role to the director Krish Jagarlamudi. He felt that it was very similar to the look of Jr Ntr in Shakti, which was a disaster. Pawan seems to be concerned about the trolling he will face if he does the role in this make-up. They say that the following two schedules are canceled because of his nervousness, and the team is planning for reshoots of a few scenes. Although his get-up indeed looks very similar to Shakti’s, we have to see if the news of the cancellation of the schedules is accurate. Nidhi Agarwal, Arjun Rampal, and Nora Fatehi will be seen alongside PSPK.
