When Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were spotted together at a Mumbai restaurant earlier this year, followed by an appearance at the airport, rumours about them began to circulate. Together, they also watched one IPL game.
Several prominent lawmakers attended their engagement ceremony this evening at Kapurthala House in the heart of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, attended the event with his family. Mr. Kejriwal wished the newlyweds and shared photos from the celebration.
Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra’s cousin, also attended. Sources claim that 150 people, including relatives and close friends, attended the celebrations.

After a resounding victory in the Lok Sabha by-poll, which gave his party the lone MP in the lower house, Raghav Chadha, a Rajya Sabha member from Punjab who was also in charge of the recent Assembly elections where his party won an overwhelming majority, earlier today tweeted that his maternal home, Jalandhar, has made this day “even more special and memorable” for him.
