The RRR team has reacted after filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s period action blockbuster created history with the film’s song Naatu Naatu earning an Oscar nomination in the Best Original Song category. The nominations for 23 categories of the 95th Academy Awards were announced by Hollywood actors Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams. The Oscars will take place on March 12.
Meanwhile, Olivia Morris took to her Instagram handle and shared her happy photo from the SS Rajamouli directorial. While sharing the picture, the actress reacted to the Oscar nomination and Golden Globe win.
“Me right now, The Naatu Naatu sequence was by far my favorite thing to work on in RRR, and it was only made possible by the incredible @ssrajamouli and #mmkeeravaani. To see Naatu Naatu nominated for best original song at the Oscars and win at the Golden Globes is such a huge and wonderful thing. “So grateful to have been a part of this epic film (sic),” she wrote.
Besides, the entire Telugu film industry erupted with joy as the Telugu film earned a rare nomination for the original song at the Oscars in 2002.
