The film “Okkadu” is one of the iconic films of Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. The movie was so successful that it was remade in multiple languages and ended up becoming a hit film everywhere.
As the film completes 2 decades on January 15, the makers decided to screen the film for fans to celebrate the special occasion. The producer of the film MS Raju announced that Okkadu will be re-released in the theatres on January 7, 2023.

The movie is directed by Gunasekhar, billed as a romantic action film featuring Mahesh Babu, Bhumika Chawla and Prakash Raj in lead roles.
The film became the highest-grosser in the year 2003. This actioner also won eight Nandi Awards and 4 Filmfare awards in numerous categories. We can definitely say that this movie set the stage for Mahesh Babu to become Superstar later on.
