No signs of stopping Varisu..

Like as we have two biggie releases for Pongal, Kollywood also has major films releasing for the festival. They have Ajith’s Thunivu and Thalapathy’s Varisu. Exhibitors across Tamil Nadu are overwhelmed, pinning high hopes on minting cash on the first few days of the release.

The Varisu, starring Vijay Thalapathy, running stupendously all over the world, including the domestic market and overseas. The film officially minted 201+ crore gross in only seven days. This is definitely the supremacy of Vijay’s stardom.

From the beginning of the movie, the movie always made headlines every day in various aspects, and the postponements and postpones didn’t affect the collection numbers.

Although, the controversial statements by Dil Raju and Rashmika Mandanna also didn’t make any negative impact on the movie. Touted to be a good family drama entertainer, the director Vamshi Paidipally was successful through his script.

The state government of Tamilnadu issued a G.O., and the Department of Revenue Administration and Disaster Management has come up with a few guidelines which exhibitors must strictly follow. As per their instructions, no movie hall should screen the films at 4 am and 5 am from January 13 to 16.

Though this GO is there, there are no signs of stopping Vijay’s Varisu. However, the film didn’t meet the expectations in both the Telugu states.

The film was bankrolled by Dil Raju under the banner of SVC and had Thaman’s musicals. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead in this Vamshi Paidipally’s directorial.
