Actress Malavika Sreenath has acted in many movies. She has shone in many films like ‘Madhuram’ and Premam actor Nivin Pauly‘s ‘Saturday Night’. In a recent interview, Malavika spoke about the issue of the casting couch. He revealed what happened when she auditioned three years ago. She was called for an audition for the role of Manju Warrier’s daughter. She said that it was her worst casting couch experience.
‘It is true that there is a coasting couch and I am its victim. I have not openly said anything about this anywhere until today. Now I’m in a position in the film industry, so I can show courage to say this’, said Malvika Sreenath. Everyone likes the role of ‘Malayalam lady superstar Manju Warrior‘s daughter’. I had no contact with anyone in the film industry. I also went to the audition. I didn’t know if it was a real audition or not,’ said Malavika.
There was an audition in Thrissur, Kerala. I went there with my mother and sister. After the audition, my hair was messed up, so he suggested that I can go to the dressing room and fix it. When I was in the dressing room, he came from behind and hugged me and touched my private parts. He said that no matter how much I tried to get rid of him, he would not leave.
‘I was young then. My mother and sister were asked to sit outside. I trembled with fear. I tried to push him away. But I could not. I started crying loudly. Tried to destroy his camera’, said the actress. Malvika Sreenath said that she drew his attention to another direction and escaped from there. But Malavika has not revealed who he is. The actress revealed this bitter incident from her experience in the film industry.
