Nikhil Siddarth after bagging the Pan-Indian blockbuster with his last outing Karthikeya 2 came up with 18 pages after that and scored a flop. However, 18 Pages was not a Pan-India film. Hence after Karthikeya 2, the actor’s next pan-Indian film is the national thriller SPY. Released amidst good expectations, the film which was off to a record-breaking opening for Nikhil failed to continue the storm and scored disaster.
Though Nikhil has suggested that the makers postpone the movie for ample promotions, they have released it in a rush. Meanwhile, weak content also leads to failure. Reacting to this disaster, Nikhil penned a note.
He wrote, “Hello, I Genuinely Thank every one of you for Thronging the Theatres of SPY and Giving me the Highest Opening of my Career at the Box Office. It gives me immense happiness to know the amount of trust you all have in me, However, it pains me to inform you all that The Movie DID NOT have a Proper Multi-Language Release across India Because of Contract/Content Delay Issues which also led 350 Telugu Premier shows overseas being Canceled”.
“I apologize to all the Hindi, Kannada, Tamil & Malayalam Audience for this and promise that after Karthikeya2 it will be our next upcoming 3 films that will be in Theatres in all languages. Perfectly Finished and released on Time. I also promise every Telugu movie lover who trusts me that from now on We will never compromise on quality, “Whatever the pressures” and will only make sure a Finished, Checked, and Fantastic Product is given to you all. With Lots of Love & Respect for you”, he added.
