Never Have I Ever actor calls Vidya Balan as India’s Meryl Streep

Sendhil Ramamurthy is a US-based actor who is known for playing Mohan in Never Have I Ever and Mohinder Suresh in Heroes. For the Indian audience, he was seen in Shor In The City and is returning to Hindi Cinema with his second film opposite actress Vidya Balan in Do Aur Do Pyaar.

On January 17, The makers of Do Aur Do Pyaar revealed the film’s first look. After an hour or more, Sendhil Ramamurthy took to his Instagram to explain how he got the project. Tanuj Garg, his friend and producer of the film, sent him the script. He shared, “I loved the character and the idea of filming in India again for the 1st time since 2009.”

He was excited to share how he is a fan of Vidya Balan and now had the opportunity to work with her. He said, “I have been a fan of Vidya Balan for a long time. She’s India’s Meryl Streep, as far as I’m concerned. I can’t believe I got to work with her; It was an amazing experience.” Do Aur Do Pyaar is directed by Ad filmmaker Shirsha Guha Thakurtha, starring Vidya Balan, Prateik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz, and Sendhil Rammurthy as the lead. The film will be out on March 29.
