Superstar Rajinikanth starred in Nelson’s action film Jailer, which became a blockbuster in 2023. Despite being far from flawless, the movie managed to portray Rajinikanth in the exact manner that his admirers had envisioned. Jailer became one of the highest-grossing Tamil films ever.
Director Nelson Dilipkumar was questioned about his next projects during a recent media appearance. In response to a question on when Jailer 2 might be released, Nelson said, “At this time, I’m not sure if that’s the next project or not.” Await the announcement.
Nelson further responded to the host’s inquiry on his next endeavors by saying that he was currently working on the script and that an official announcement will be coming up in two months.
Since the Jailer monstrous success at box office, Rajinikath fans have been waiting for a sequel to Jailer, and not too long ago, there were rumors that Rajinikanth would be collaborating with Nelson once again for Jailer 2. The director has now confirmed the Jailer 2 possibility.
