It’s been two years since Sushant Singh Rajput left this world. The case that started to investigate the reason or rather the perpetrators behind his suspicious death had taken an ugly turn towards drugs case. Many celebs were pulled into this by the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB). Rhea Chakraborthy was investigated in and out regarding Sushant’s demise and drugs case as well. It seems the case will be going on forever. The latest update is that Rhea Chakraborthy was again booked by NCB alleging that she provided drugs to Sushant. Along with Rhea, 34 other high-profile names are on the charge sheet. The actress and her brother Showik Chakraborthy were said to have bought Marijuana for Sushant.
If convicted, Rhea might have to face at least 10 years of Jail. She responded to these allegations by saying that she was never involved in any kind of Marijuana affair. “Sushant smoked Marijuana but I never encouraged it. Moreover, I tried to get him out of that. Not for once in my life, did I speak with any drug dealer or consume any drugs. I’m ready for blood tests too if needed” said Rhea. While Sushant’s family are alleging that Rhea is the reason behind Sushant’s death, Rhea in turn is fuming that Sushant’s family harassed him mentally for money which prompted him to commit suicide. Earlier, Rhea was arrested in 2020 September in Sushant’s and drugs cases and had spent a month in jail before the Bombay High Court provided her with the bail relief.
