Nayanthara, who never does promotions nor gives interviews for her film, has now gaven a long interview promoting her latest movie ‘Connect’. Produced by Nayanathara’s husband Vignesh Shivan, the film is receiving mixed reviews.
Interestingly, the talented actress has used this opportunity to hit back at trolls and negative criticisms that were hurled at her over the years. One of the interesting responses was her reply to an actress Malvika who had commented on her looks in a hospital scene in one of her films.
Malvika once said that the actress was in heavy makeup with perfect hair while shooting for a hospital scene and it lacks reality.
Responding to this, without taking Malavika’s name, Nayan said it was a commercial cinema, not a realistic film, which is why the director wanted her to look that way. She added that things would be different in a commercial movie compared to a realistic film.
