As Nayanathara entered a new life with her husband, Vignesh Sivan, she visited Tirumala Balaji for blessings. But, she landed in trouble as she did not remove her sandals and roamed in the ‘Madaveedhi’ with her slippers on. The devotees of Lord Venkateswara consider Madaveedhi to be very holy as the Swamy himself walks in these streets. A possible ignorance from Nayan’s side could have led to this mistake, say her fans.
On the other hand, as there is an uproar on social media and among the general public alike, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) assured the devotees that they are looking at taking necessary measures against the actress. The Vigilance Officer of TTD, Bal Reddy, interacted with the press regarding the same. There was also a photoshoot before the temple itself, which is prohibited. Bal Reddy announced that they are consulting the legal experts and will decide how to move further in the matter. There will be actions taken on the Temple staff, who showed negligence in performing their duty, said the officer.
