The newly married star couple Vignesh Sivan and Nayanthara have written a letter regarding their latest controversy in Tirumala. As soon as their marriage event was done, the couple appeared in Tirumala to have the Darshan of Balaji, and they even had a photo shoot in front of the main temple. All this while, Nayan is seen wearing chappals which stirred controversy. As the devotees of Balaji were irked with this, Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD)on disciplinary measures and hinted that they would be issuing a legal notice to the couple.
Meanwhile, this incident became the headlines rather than the couple’s marriage. As a result, Vignesh and Nayan issued an apology letter in this regard. “We always wanted to marry in Tirumala. We have visited the hill almost five times in the last 30 days. But for some unavoidable reasons, our marriage didn’t happen in Tirumala. We were unified in Mahabalipuram. We thought at least to have photos near Balaji Temple. There were a lot of devotees surrounding us, which created a little confusion. In this hurry, we forgot that Nayan was wearing slippers. We love Swamy a lot. We never meant any disrespect. Please forgive us,” said the director. Will this apology suffice for the TTD or not is to be seen.
