Natural Star Nani needs no introduction. He seems to have started taking special care while selecting scripts after facing humiliating box office failures. He bounced back with “Shyam Singa Roy” after back-to-back debacles such as V: The movie, Tuck Jagadeesh, and average Gang leader. Shyam Singa Roy(SSR) gave him a much-needed break from his failure streak.
After scoring such a massive hit, Nani wants to expand his market all over India. He is currently working for Ante Sundaraniki with Vivek Athreya who directed Mental Madhilo and Brochevarevarura. Mythri Movie Makers are producing this project while Vivek Sagar is handling the music department. Posters and teasers hyped the expectations on this flick.
Makers are planning to release this rom-com project in Tamil and Malayalam along with Telugu. Though it is not released in Hindi, it will help Nani to expand his market to Malayalam. He is not a new face in Tamil, he did some direct Tamil films and has a good market in Tamil.
However, after Ante Sundaraniki, Dasara, his upcoming project will be a Pan-Indian film. Sudhakar Cherukuri is investing hugely in this pan India project under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas production banner. After this project, Nani has a few more pan-Indian projects in the pipeline.
Nani will join hands with Subbu (Solo Brathuke So Bettaru fame) and VI Anandh consecutively. Project with VI Anandh will be a science fiction-based story and Nani seems very impressed with the storyline and wants to start the project as soon as possible. However, the fate of these projects will depend on the result of Dasara. If Dasara scores a blockbuster at the Indian Box Office, makers will try to invest some extra money to improve the quality for Pan Indian Level.
What if not? Will these projects be shelved? Or will these become regional films? We can only wait for the results of Dasara.
