Naga Chaitanya opens up on how he, Akhil and Nag deal with flops

The Akkineni family is facing tough times with back-to-back flops. Nagarjuna, Akhil Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya’s past few films haven’t done favourable business at the box office. Instead, they stood as disasters. The Ghost, Thank you and Agent stood as disasters at the ticket counter.

So all the Akkineni fans pinned their hopes on Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film, Custody which will release in theatres on May 12. The cop drama, which is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, is helmed by Venkat Prabhu

At the press conference of this upcoming film, he spoke about the film as well as several other topics. He spoke about how the Akkineni family are going through a bad phase now.

Talking at the event, he said, “We always want to give a successful film. We are grateful for the unconditional love and support of our fans. The last few releases haven’t worked out. Highs and lows in a career are quite normal and we travel through the highs and lows. This phase will pass soon and we will be back for sure. I am quite confident of Custody. I am hoping we will give what our fans need.”
