Tamil superstar Vijay’s recent blockbuster Varisu was directed by Telugu director Vamsi Paidipalli and bankrolled by Dil Raju. The female lead in this blockbuster is played by the Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna. Her screen presence and her scenes are very few in the movie leaving all her fans disappointed.
In her latest interview during the promotions of her latest movie Mission Majnu starring Siddharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna, she even agreed that she had only a very few scenes and consciously signed up for the film. Rashmika claims as a fan girl she wanted to be part of Vijay’s movie. Rashmika said “ I knew my character didn’t have much to do. But it was a conscious decision that I made as I wanted to be part of Vijay sir’s movie. During the shoot, I went to Vijay sir and told him that I have just two songs and four scenes and I’m going to kill it.”
Her latest movie Mission Majnu is streaming on Netflix. Rashmika claims that her character in Mission Majnu is a challenging task as she will be seen as a blind girl for the first time in this movie. Rashmika also added that she is not limiting herself to just doing women-centric roles and is open to doing commercial films too.
