Kartik Aaryan established himself as one of the most happening young actors with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and didn’t turn back giving blockbusters like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Satyaprem Ki Katha, Luka Chuppi has his name associated with the most anticipated upcoming romantic drama Aashiqui 3.
Aashiqui 3 producer Mukesh Bhatt has expressed his disappointment regarding the rumors surrounding the film Aashiqui 3. He said, “We shouldn’t have made the announcement so early. Every other day, there is speculation about the film or its casting. I’m tired of these stories coming out of nowhere. We want to do Aashiqui 3 in the right manner.”

Mukesh Bhatt stated that Anurag Basu who will be directing this project is currently busy with other films and will start shooting once the script is final and Kartik Aaryan would also like the final script to move on further so they will only work on music later which will mostly happen by January next year.

The Aashiqui franchise has three instalments so far with the first Aashiqui released in 1990 directed by Mahesh Bhatt receiving success with soundtrack that sold for 20 million units.
