Monster gets banned in GCC countries ?

Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal’s upcoming film ‘Monster’ might not get a worldwide release as initially expected. This is the second movie after ‘Pulimurugan’ for the director Vysakh and actor Mohanlal. According to reports the film has reportedly been banned in Gulf countries due to its unusual (LGBTQ) content.

There has been no official confirmation regarding the ban in GCC countries. As per latest newd we have known, Plans are made to replace this movie with Nivin Pauly’s Padavettu, which is also hitting theatres on the same day.

Billed to be an investigative thriller Monster, is scripted by Udaykrishna. In an earlier interview both Vysakh and Udaykrishna had stated that the film is entirely different from preivous ventures, is more of an experimental venture. Both of them also praised Mohanlal for agreeing to be part of the movie.

The movie also has Lakshmi Manchu, Sudev Nair, Lena, Siddique, Ganesh Kumar and Honey Rose in pivotal roles. This is her debut film for Manchu Lakshmi in Malayalam industry. Bankrolled by Aashirvaad Cinemas.
