In the second week of the season, contestants were given an opportunity for the direct nomination last week, but it did not go to voting. Mohanlal had announced at the beginning of the Sunday episode that no one is being fired this weekend. But the fifth season of Bigg Boss Malayalam has come with some special features in voting.
Until last time, each contestant received 50 votes a day on the Disney Plus Hotstar app. This can be freely given to their favourite contestants who have reached the nomination. But this time there was a slight change in the number of votes that one can vote. Instead of 50 votes, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal announced that only one vote will be allowed in a day. It can be given only to one of the nominated contestants.
This is a move that significantly reduces the difference between the contestants in the number of votes. If the contestants know this information, it will surely influence the pace and intensity of the competition. Meanwhile, the Bigg Boss audience is waiting to know who will be included in the first nomination of the season. The speciality of this year’s Bigg Boss is that the contestants are very knowledgeable about the Bigg Boss game and know exactly how to play and what not to do.
