Pop star Miley Cyrus went into great depth in an enlightening interview on how she met her current boyfriend, Maxx Morando, after divorcing actor Liam Hemsworth. And let’s just say there was some light banter and a semi-blind date involved.
The 30-year-old “Flowers” singer revealed the details of their relationship, stating that they met on a blind date “a couple of summers back” and subsequently fell in love. The catch is that while Miley was blind, it seemed Maxx had a little more understanding. Well, it was blind for me and not really for him, Miley said. The worst that might happen, I reasoned, is that I leave.
Miley, who is always game for a joke, answered the phone from her boyfriend while Erykah Badu’s catchy ringtone “Tyrone” played. She joked about it by calling it her “boyfriend sexy ringtone,” which lightheartedly spiced up the conversation.
Naturally, the subject of whether her former relationships with Liam Hemsworth served as inspiration for several of her songs, including “Flowers” and “Jaded,” came up. Miley, though, playing the sly mystery queen, said, “I never need to be a master at the technique of misleading an audience. All by itself, it will catch fire.
