The 2010 Box Office disaster Orange got re-released recently on the occasion of Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s birthday special and the movie bagged good success at the box office with decent collections.
Initially, the shows are limited to screening only on March 25th and 26th. However, later the shows were extended and now a special show at 8 AM tomorrow is planned and it is expected that ‘mega’ celebs will attend the show.
The movie is one of the very few special films that unfortunately failed at the box office during its release but became a cult classic with time. Even the lead actor of Orange, Ram Charan, has said several times that Orange is one of his most beloved movies. Now with the re-release, Telugu film lovers are celebrating Orange in theatres, particularly in Hyderabad and the other Nizam areas.
Orange was directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and starred Ram Charan and Genelia in the lead roles. Produced by Naga Babu, the film music by Harris Jayaraj became an instant chartbuster and is still a favourite album of many even today.
