Dasara is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by debutant Srikanth Odela. Srikanath worked as an assistant director for Sukumar. The film is set in the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani of Telangana. Natural star Nani and National award winner Keerthy Suresh are playing The lead roles in this movie.
The teaser starts with Nani’s narration regarding his village and their tradition. All the visuals and characters are wild and look very aggressive. Nani’s slang and attitude were the biggest advantages for the movie. The climax scene in the teaser simply gives us goosebumps. Nani simply nailed his character and he was an asset for this project.
This movie is bankrolled by Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP which in past produced the films like Padi Padi Leche Manasu and Virata Parvam. Even though the concepts of these movies are unique they failed to collect sound collections at the box office. But the Dasara teaser looks like a promising blockbuster with full length action entertainment.
Nani and Keethy Suresh were seen in never before mass and rustic avatar in this movie. This is Nani and Keerthy’s second collaboration after Nenu Local. Santosh Narayan composed the music for this film. Geetha Arts and Star Studios combined to distribute this flick. The digital streaming rights of Dasara were bought by Netflix.
We are going to witness this mass action entertainer in theaters on March 30, 2023.
