Previously, in 1995, Manisha Koirala was diagnosed with cancer, and the actress’s death was faked for Mahesh Bhatt’s film Criminal. The filmmaker was reported to have faked his leading lady’s death for his film’s promotion.
Poonam Pandey was pronounced dead, and fans and masses grieved her death after coming across the news. The Lock Up contestant recently confirmed that she is alive. The whole dead episode happens to be a promotional stunt as they were promoting awareness regarding Cervical Cancer; the media and the masses raged after learning the truth and believed that the promotional stunt was sheer disrespect towards the patients who are dealing with it.
