Vijay’s Leo, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, is one of the year’s most anticipated films. The film’s team, which started shooting in January, has completed the first schedule in Kashmir and is on a scheduled break.
We now learn that popular Malayalam Actress Santhi Mayadevi has been roped in to play a role in the film. According to her recent tweet, she posted a picture with Leo movie director Lokesh Kanagaraj and revealed that she is also part of Leo very recently.
Santhi Mayadevi is also part of Mohanlal’s upcoming Malayalam Film RAM: Part-1 in which she plays an advocate by profession and lives in Ernakulam, Kerala.
Leo stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Mathew Thomas playing important roles. The music for the movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is set to release in theatres on October 19. Meanwhile, we hear that the Leo team will likely shoot in Hyderabad after the Chennai schedule, and preparations are underway.
