Kollywood actor Vishal has been actively promoting his upcoming Laththi, which will be released in theatres on December 22 touted to be a multilingual film.
Vishal plays the character of a police constable in the movie. Interestingly, he essays the role of a father for the first time.
It was directed by A Vinoth Kumar, starring Sunainaa in the female lead role. She is sharing screen space with Vishal after a decade’s hiatus. The trailer of the movie was unveiled a few days ago, Billed as an action entertainer which has loads of stunts and action sequences.
The action stunts and choreography taken by National Award winner Peter Hein are going to be one of the highlights of the film. Vishal was in the news a couple of times when he got injured while performing for a few stunt scenes. The movie plot revolves around a cop who gets attacked by a group of goons after an unexpected incident.
The movie team has announced that Sun NXT has bagged the film’s post-theatrical rights. Already, Sun TV has acquired its satellite rights. Laththi is expected to have its digital premiere in January. The film is Vishal’s second outing this year after Veeramae Vaagai Soodum which was released in February.
