Major film was based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film was directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. The film stars Adivi Sesh, Saiee Manjrekar, and Sobhita Dhulipala in the lead roles. The film became a blockbuster hit and it got huge collections and got over ₹66 crores. It is also one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2022.
Ante Sundaraniki is the film starring Nani and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles. Nazriya made her Telugu debut with this film. The film is written and directed by Vivek Athreya. The film was liked by the audience but in the end, the film didn’t get collections and it failed commercially.
The recent news about the film is that Major movie broke the records of Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki for the least TRP on its first telecast. Nani’s film has a TRP rating of 1.88 whereas Sesh’s movie got even less with a rating of 1.87. Both films were telecasted on Gemini TV. Nowadays, most of the audience is watching everything on OTT platforms and no one is showing much interest in TV.
