Superstar Mahesh Babu is taking it longer than usual to start SSMB 28 with Trivikram Srinivas. Already, there have been plenty of speculations regarding the movie doing rounds in film circles. They say that Mahesh wasn’t satisfied with the script at all and has many changes to which Trivikram obliged. Even though their previous project Khaleja does have a cult following, the movie didn’t do well at that time of release. It’s being said that Mahesh suggested Trivikram not to repeat the earlier mistakes and wanted the movie to be a sure-shot blockbuster. Sentimentally, except for Koratala Siva, Mahesh doesn’t have blockbusters with any directors he repeated. Be it Gunasekhar or Srini Vaitla or Srikanth Addala, it’s a bitter result for him almost every time. This is the reason Mahesh is being very apprehensive about moving forward with the shoot.
At last, when everything is set and Mahesh okayed the final draft, Mahesh’s latest foreign trip has again delayed the start of the shoot. The schedules should have been ready by this month’s last week but since Superstar is busy, it is postponed to August. According to the inside sources, this tour of Mahesh is not for vacation but to join his son Gautham in a prestigious college in Europe. Full details might be out soon. It’s interesting that this is a late admission for Gautham. Rumours are that he was already made to join an intermediate college in India but Mahesh and Namratha again changed their decision and opted for a foreign college. Anyway, the personal work of SSMB has become the reason for Trivikram to wait for more.
