The much-anticipated third instalment of the hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise is all set to go on floors soon. Since the fans have been waiting with bated breaths for more updates about the film, Kartik Aaryan has given everyone the surprise of their lives by announcing Vidya Balan’s return as Manjulika.
According to the latest reports, Vidya will not only be returning as Manjulika but Madhuri Dixit-Nene has also been roped in to play a pivotal role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Vidya will be returning but kept the details of her role in the franchise’s third chapter under wraps. Furthermore, according to emerging reports, filmmaker Anees Bazmee has cast Madhuri in his upcoming horror comedy.
Rumour has it that Rooh Baba, played by Kartik, will be facing off against not one but two spectres this time, thanks to his purported ability to speak with the afterlife. The makers thought including a different ghost would enrich the story. The two spectres, Madhuri and Vidya, will face off against Rooh Baba.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022) had Kiara Advani as Aaryan’s love interest. There is chatter that the makers are keen on casting Sara Ali Khan opposite him for the latest outing. The source adds, “The discussions are at a nascent stage. Nothing is confirmed yet.”
