The moviemakers of Ajith starrer Thunivu is coming up with exciting announcements as days pass by.
Recently, Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant Movies officially announced bagging the movie’s theatrical rights in Tamil Nadu. The post-theatrical rights is bagged by Netflix ott giant.
As the film is releasing against the Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu, there has been various speculation doing the rounds on overseas rights. Noted Production label, Lyca Productions has now revealed that they have acquired the overseas theatrical rights of the movie. The production house announced the same on their social handle and expressed the excitement.
Another interesting thing is that the same production house Lyca will produce the Ajith’s next outing which is tentatively titled as AK 62 which is to be directed by Vignesh Shivan.
Fans are waiting for first single from Thunivu. Gibran composed the music for this Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios production.
The film is set to release for Pongal, official date is yet to be confirmed, despite the rumours the film is releasing on January 12,2023.
