Lokesh Kanagarj and Thalapathy Vijay‘s most anticipated action film from the Lokesh Cinematic Universe franchise is all set to break records. The film is already creating opening advance booking records before 42 days of its release.
Leo is an action film directed by Lokesh Kanagarj and produced by S. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio. At the same time, Jagadish Palanisamy serves as co-producer and has an estimated budget of Rs 250 crores to Rs 300 crores. The film is a sequel to Karthi’s Kaithi and a prequel to Kamal Hasan’s monstrous hit film Vikram. The action thriller film is a third from the LCU franchise and will lead the franchise’s future.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the pre-booking on his Twitter account. He posted a picture from Leo’s film and mentioned that LEO film shattered all previous records in #UK with massive ticket sales within 24 hours of opening advance bookings. Leo has already crossed £ 100k/ 1,03,70,590 Indian Rupee in sales, despite advance bookings opening at 120 locations, 42 days before its theatrical releas
Leo is the first Indian film to open bookings this early in the UK and and already booked 10,000 tickets in pre sales. Leo is set for a theatrical release on 19 October 2023 in standard, IMAX and other premium formats.
