Kollywood star director graced Karthi’s Japan trailer launch and got candid about Leo receiving mixed reviews. Lokesh praised Japan makers for their unique content and also praised Karthi’s commitment to Japan film.
When he was asked about Leo’s mixed reviews, the most happening director politely said that he is happy for producers as Leo is breaking the box office record, and Thalapathy Vijay is also delighted. He said he is accepting Leo’s Second half’s mixed reviews, and he will take care of that in upcoming films. He is such a humble director. Tollywood directors need to learn how to react to criticism from Lokesh.
When a reporter asked about claims on Leo collections being fake, Lokesh answered, “I’ve seen the theatre response and received mixed reviews for the second half. I also got feedback that the second half lags. I accept it, and I’ll leave the topic of the collection to my producer”. Lokesh Kanagaraj said He is eagerly waiting to direct Kollywood’s much-awaited sequel film Kaithi 2 with Karthi. He revealed that Tailavar’s film will begin shooting in March or April 2024.
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action entertainer Leo grossed more than 500 crores despite receiving mixed reviews. The film is on a mission to chase Rs 650 crore.
